The beauty queen wife of convicted drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman will be joining the cast of VH1’s hit reality television series Cartel Crew.

According to the Daily Mail, executives from the network known for its reality shows confirmed that Emma Coronel Aispuro will be joining Cartel Crew’s second season. The confirmation comes after photos surfaced online of Aispuro being spotted with Cartel Crew cast member Michael Blanco on a yacht in Miami, Fla.

Blanco is the son of “Cocaine Godmother” Griselda Blanco.

The yacht meeting is featured in a trailer VH1 released of Aispuro’s first Cartel Crew episode, which will air Nov. 18.

The premise of Cartel Crew centres around the lives of eight individuals who have family ties to the drug world. The cast members are trying to make a legit name for themselves outside the criminal underworld.

For Aispuro, who has been married to Guzman since 2007, she’s looking to reinvent her life with an “upcoming business venture” while opening up about life after El Chapo.

According to VH1, Aispuro will make several appearances on Cartel Crew.

A co-founder of the Sinaloa Cartel, Guzman was sentenced this past July after being found guilty of a slew of charges and is currently serving a life sentence in prison.

Aispuro was 18 years old when she met Guzman. She gave birth to twin daughters she bore with Guzman.
