The Stratford Warriors’ losing skid continued Friday with a 6-2 loss at home to the Kitchener Dutchmen.

Drew Ferris and Clayton Lewis supplied the Warriors with a quick two-goal lead, but the visitors replied with six straight scores, including a hat trick from Sean Kawalec. Warriors netminder Rhett Kimmel was tagged with the loss after surrendering five goals on 24 shots. Tyler Parr allowed one more on 14 shots. The Dutchmen went 2-for-5 on the power play while the Warriors were blanked on their five opportunities.

Stratford (5-6-1-2) has now lost five straight games. The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League Midwestern Conference’s fifth-place club heads to Brampton Sunday for a 3:30 p.m. game against the sixth-place Bombers (5-8-1-0).
