"No foul play is suspected at this point," said Constable Chantelle Kelly with the RCMP.
On Sunday the RCMP released a statement that Patricia Stacey’s body had been found.
It was only two days after sending out an initial request for the public to assist in locating the missing woman. She was 53 years old and was last seen at 4:30 p.m. on Halloween in the Westpark area of Fort Saskatchewan.
Starting out as a general concern for her well being the RCMP were looking for her to speak with her as soon as possible, though no mention was made as to why they were concerned.
The search began with emergency vehicles throughout Fort Saskatchewan with members of Strathcona County and Fort Saskatchewan fire departments taking part, Edmonton Search and Rescue, plus an RCMP Air Services helicopter and police service dogs.
“No foul play is suspected at this point,” said Constable Chantelle Kelly with the RCMP.
The RCMP press release also stated that no further updates would be release regarding her death.
