The Perth County OPP arrested and charged a North Perth resident after allegedly soliciting sexual services at a local park.
Police said the adult victim was sitting in a vehicle at Jackson Park in Listowel around 1:45 a.m. when another vehicle arrived at the park. A person unknown to the victim approached the victim’s vehicle. During the conversation with the victim, the suspect requested sexual services in exchange for money.
Police charged a 64-year-old North Perth man with communicating with anyone for the purpose of obtaining sexual services. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario court of justice in Stratford June 29.
